Associate Professor Alasdair MacDonald
A memorial service for the late Associate Professor Alasdair MacDonald; Director of Medicine at the Launceston General Hospital (LGH) will be held on Monday 15 January 2024 at 11:00am in Ockerby Gardens.
Family, friends, and colleagues are warmly invited to celebrate Alasdair’s life, career, and service to the community. At his family’s request, medical colleagues are kindly asked to wear their stethoscope and/or appropriate uniform.
Condolence sheets are in place at the LGH reception and they will also be available at the Service. Messages can be emailed to media@ths.tas.gov.au and will be passed on to Alasdair’s family.
Please dress for the weather, as this event will be outdoors.

Public parking is available at Door of Hope, South Launceston. A shuttle bus will run from Glen Dhu Street to LGH at 10.05am, 10.25am and 10.45am and return after Service.
