With great sadness we announce the death of

Margaret Ellen Hilly.

 

Margaret was the loving wife of Peter

(dec. 26 Jan 2025) for over 50 years;

a devoted and cherished mother to

Cate, David, Emily and Laura;

an embracing mother-in-law to Margot & Trent;

an adored Ma to Xavier, Hamish, Miriam,

Betsy, Max, Reuben and Angus;

and dedicated sister to Veronica, Graeme,

Tony, Julie, David and Alison.

 

Margaret was a much-loved and adored friend, physiotherapist and supporter of

the Canberra community.

Her gentle grace will be remembered forever.

 

She was deeply loved and is dearly missed.

 

A funeral service for Margaret will be held at

St Monica’s Catholic Church,

Deffell Street, Evatt on Thursday,

14 August 2025, commencing at 11am.
