Gregory (Greg) Douglas

The Morcombe family announces the passing of Gregory (Greg) Douglas Morcombe, born on 18th February 1963 and passed peacefully on 7th August 2024 after a long battle with cancer.

Dearly loved son of Marlene and Alan. Loved and respected brother of Stephen and partner Liz, Ross and daughter-in-law Belinda. Dear uncle to his nephews and nieces, Genna, Jaimee, Blake, Mackenzie, Finn and Archer.

Adored husband of Jenny, much loved father of Mathew and partner Nikki. Loving father of Nichola. Treasured by Jenny’s children Kym and husband Gareth and Ben. Loving grandfather of Freya, Maeve and Arki.

Gregs passion of bikes and cars led to many lasting friendships. Gregs work ethic was second to none, and his wicked sense of humour was infectious.

A memorial service will be held at 2pm on Wednesday 14th August at Tobin Brothers Mount Martha. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the Pancare Foundation pancare.org.au.
