HENSHALL John Charles

After a short but difficult battle with leukaemia, John died on the morning of Friday 25 October 2024 surrounded by his family and close friends. He will be sorely missed but never forgotten by his wife Bonita, by his children Eric and Rita and their mother Kathleen, by his siblings Mary, Gerry, Patricia, Steve and James and their partners and children and by his many close friends here in Australia and in England and Clarksdale Mississippi. He was a wonderful, caring, intelligent, generous and funny man and will be sadly missed by everyone who knew him. A man who loved his family deeply, loved to travel, who laughed a lot despite being a terrible joke teller and was happiest when having a wine with friends, talking politics and listening to his beloved blues music. A highly respected economist and town planner who leaves behind him a legacy of work around the world.
John will be remembered forever.
