He went into shipping as a Cadet to be an Officer which he worked up to Captain of many cargo ships, where he made many friends (the boys who were a lively bunch), one friend in particular stayed a true friend and in contact via phone almost on a daily basis was Scott McCabe. Mark later went into Oil and Gas with BHP on the FPSO’S and commissioning. During these bachelor years Mark also completed his Law Degree and Solicitor’s after he purchased his beach house in Fingal Bay Newcastle to call his base.

Mark went on to work as a Business Owner, then Senior Manager in Oil & Gas at Kurdistan Plant where Isis tried attacking.
