Simon passed away peacefully surrounded by his children on Wednesday.

He was a devoted family man. Son of Dennis (dec.) and Patricia (dec.), brother to Prue (dec.), he was a loving father to Katherine and Anthony, and grandfather to Alexandra, caring father-in-law to Robert and Lorena, a brother-in-law to Michael, uncle to Tom, James, and Zoe, and former husband of Christine.

He loved his early 20th-century jazz, the Essendon Football Club, and his patented “Simon’s usual”, a cappuccino and vanilla slice at
his local cafe.
He was a lifelong philatelist, and loved nothing more than getting family and friends together. Simon will be missed by many, including those who cared for him at Somerville Gardens.

We will celebrate Simon’s life on his birthday, Friday 7th of August.
