Loving son of Albert and Maureen Bates (both deceased). Much loved brother and brother-in-law of Michael and Lisa, Maree and Neville, Patricia and Haydn, Philip (deceased) and Maree. Cherished uncle and great uncle to his many nieces and nephews. Esteemed member of the Society of Mary (Marist Fathers).

A Mass of Christian Burial for Father Kevin Francis Bates SM will be offered in Holy Name of Mary Church, Villa Maria, Mary Street, Hunters Hill on Wednesday 7th February 2024 appointed to commence at 10:30am.

A Vigil Mass will be celebrated at St Peter Chanel Church, Futuna Street, Woolwich on Tuesday evening at 7pm.

The Burial will take place at the conclusion of Mass at Macquarie Park Cemetery, Corner of Delhi and Plassey Roads, North Ryde.
