Charles Robert Godfrey (Rob)

Late of “Wandara” Breadalbane, NSW.

Passed away at home 16 April 2024, aged 70.

Son of the Late Fay and Jim Bell, father of Sarah Cumani, Henry and Sinclair Bell and Liberty Chance and husband of Susie, father-in-law of Matt, Azrah, Sophie and Michael, grandfather of Max and Luca Cumani, Willa and Stirling Bell, Alba, Heidi and Robert Bell and Olivia and William Chance and brother of James Bell, Sally Archibald, Jenny Edwards and Diana Treloar.

Lived life to the full right to the end, notwithstanding the adversity of MS over recent years. Admired for his strength of character, friendship, optimism and good humour.

Rob will be remembered as a gentleman, a careful custodian of the land and of his horses and livestock, a fine polo player, a loyal friend, and above all a strong family man.

Following a private family funeral, a memorial gathering and celebration of Rob’s life will be held at Goulburn Race Club, Racecourse Drive, via Taralga Road, Goulburn on 3 May 2024 at 12.00 midday.

Family and friends of Rob are cordially invited to attend.
