Late of Neutral Bay, formerly of Cremorne Point.

Retired Judge of the Federal Court of Australia.

Dearly beloved husband of Pamela. Much loved father of Celina Edmonds and father-in-law of David Breen. Proudest grandfather of Hugo Breen and his partner Alexandra Moy, Darcy Breen and Luella Breen. Only son of Frank and Stella Edmonds (both deceased). Brother of Diane Thorne and brother-in-law of Ken Thorne. Uncle to his nephews and nieces.

Rugby tragic and loyal supporter of Sydney University (SUFC). Old Boy of Trinity Grammar School.

Richard’s family and friends are warmly invited to attend a funeral service in the North Chapel of Northern Suburbs Crematorium, 199 Delhi Road, North Ryde, on Friday March 22, 2024 commencing at 2:15pm.
