A person with high integrity, low ego and an agile intellect. Graham was forthright and determined in the pursuit of clarity, truth and justice. He will be remembered for his pioneering career in finance, crisp writing, building the world’s greatest guinea pig hutch and navigating European alpine roads with the calm precision of an F1 driver. He had an enduring curiosity about the things that make people tick, and a competitive zeal that produced lovely through-balls and impressive headers on the football field. Graham did everything with excellence. Except the time he mistakenly stir-fried newly sprouted daffodils instead of spring onions.

Deeply loved husband of Deborah Solomon, father of
Jenna and Elana Hand, father-in-law of Vafa Ghazavi and grandfather of Lua. Son of Gordon (dec)
and Lilian Hand, and brother of Pamela Nolan and Cheryl McEvoy.

Family and friends are invited to attend Graham’s funeral at 11am on Wednesday, 4 December 2024, at Macquarie Park Cemetery and Crematorium.
